Approving the Chairman and 4 Vice Chairmen of the Da Nang People's Council for the new term

The National Assembly Standing Committee has just issued resolutions approving the results of the election of the Chairman of the People's Council and Vice Chairmen of the People's Council of Da Nang City, term XI, term 2026 - 2031. This is an important completion step in the process of consolidating the Standing Committee of the City People's Council for the new term.

According to Decision No. 243/NQ-UBTVQH16, the National Assembly Standing Committee approved the election results of Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Council, term X, term 2021 - 2026 to hold the position of Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Council, term XI, term 2026 - 2031.

Along with that, in Decision No. 245/NQ-UBTVQH16, the National Assembly Standing Committee approved the results of the election of 4 Vice Chairmen of the Da Nang City People's Council of the XI term, term 2026 - 2031.

The approved personnel include Mr. Tran Phuoc Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council term X; Mr. Tran Xuan Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council term X; Mr. Doan Ngoc Hung Anh - Member of the City Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council term X; and Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh - Member of the City Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council term X.

The approval of the personnel of the Standing Committee of the 11th City People's Council takes place after the first session of the Da Nang City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term, a session identified as having important significance in term transfer, consolidating the local government apparatus and creating a foundation for the city to operate stably from the beginning of the new term.
