Inauguration of 2 routes worth over VND1,350 billion, development in the south of Binh Thuan
Binh Thuan - DT.719B coastal axis road and Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road were inaugurated on the anniversary of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland of Binh Thuan.
On the morning of April 19, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province held an inauguration ceremony for the coastal route DT.719B (from National Highway 1 to Suoi Nhum bridge) and the Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh route on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland of Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025).
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh - Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, Deputy Minister of Construction, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Home Affairs and leaders of Binh Thuan province.

The project to renovate the coastal axis road DT.719B, the section from Phan Thiet to Suoi Nhum bridge, is 17.8 km long and is invested by the Binh Thuan Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board with a total investment of VND 933 billion. The route has a connecting point with National Highway 1 at km 1710+500, the section passing through Ham My commune, Ham Thuan Nam district and the end point at Suoi Nhum bridge (intersecting with Ham Minh - Thuan Quy road), Thuan Quy commune, Ham Thuan Nam district.
According to the design, DT.719B road has a 28 m wide roadbed, a 16 m wide road surface, a median strip of 11 m, and a 0.5 m reinforced edge on each side. The asphalt concrete structure on the foundation is gravel.
The Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road is 7.7 km long. The roadbed is 37 m wide, the road surface is 16 m wide. The road surface is made of asphalt concrete on the foundation with crushed stone. On the route, there are 3 reinforced concrete bridges and drainage systems, trees, and a traffic safety system. The total investment for Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road is 419,5 billion VND.
This is the road connecting from the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway at the intersection with National Highway 1 at km1717 + 500 through Ham Kiem Commune, Ham Thuan Nam District to the coastal road DT.719B, Tien Thanh Commune, Phan Thiet City.
People travel from Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway to the end of the access road, meet National Highway 1 and go straight this road to tourist areas and resorts in the South of Phan Thiet City, go to Mui Ke Ga, La Gi and go down to Ba Ria - Vung Tau along the coastal road.
Currently, both routes have been completed and put into operation. Recently, these two routes have welcomed a large number of vehicles and people in the area for more convenient travel every day.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the inauguration of the two routes is an important milestone in the development and completion of the province's strategic transport infrastructure, connecting with the North-South expressway and completing the coastal route to the South of Phan Thiet city. From there, orient the development of coastal space, expand urban space; connect transportation synchronously, improve transportation capacity, effectively exploit the fairly large and rich potential of land in this area, promote strong development of tourism, services, marine economy, improve the lives of local people.
Also at the inauguration ceremony, the leaders of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to families with land in the project area that had handed over the site early for construction.

At 11:00 a.m. the same day, when Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh cut the ribbon to inaugurate and open to traffic works and projects celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification at the T3 chicken house bridge - Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, in Binh Thuan, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and leaders of the Ministries and People's Committees of Binh Thuan province performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate two routes.
The coastal axis road DT.719B and Ham Kiem - Tien Thanh road were inaugurated connecting all coastal routes, creating an axis connecting the center of Phan Thiet city with Ke Ga beach, to Ba Ria - Vung Tau, with the hope of reviving the southern socio-economic recovery of Binh Thuan province and completing internal infrastructure.
