Expected number of communes after the reorganization in Ha Giang
Ha Giang - On April 14, the province held an online conference to the bridge points of 11 districts and cities to collect opinions on the plan to reorganize the commune level in the area.
Currently, Ha Giang province has 193 commune-level administrative units (ADUs). The arrangement of commune-level administrative units is based on the basis such as area, population, traffic, ethnicity, religion, belief, customs, practices, ensuring national defense, security, politics and many other factors.
According to the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province, it is expected that after this reorganization, there will be 74 communes, reaching a reduction rate of 61.66%.
Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province - suggested that relevant agencies continue to study, absorb the opinions of delegates, organize to collect people's contributions, complete the plan to arrange administrative units at the commune level, ensure closeness to reality and high feasibility.
According to the leader of Ha Giang province, the arrangement needs to consider similar factors in history, culture, geography and development space.
