Dong Nai reviews houses and offices for 1,670 officials at the Binh Phuoc provincial level when merging

On April 21, the leaders of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee worked with departments, branches and Bien Hoa City to prepare offices and houses for civil servants at the Binh Phuoc provincial level when the province was merged.
According to the Department of Finance, the province currently has 467 headquarters of provincial agencies and public service establishments under provincial agencies under management and use and proposed to keep them for continued use in the coming time. In addition, there are 13 headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee that have been assigned to the Department of Agriculture and Environment to carry out the recovery, so far 4 headquarters have been handled, the remaining 9 headquarters have not been recovered.
Regarding the management and use of headquarters when implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of specialized agencies, agencies, and units at the provincial and district levels, there are 5 headquarters that can be repaired to serve as public housing for civil servants; 6 headquarters can be maintained and repaired to be used as working headquarters after the merger of provinces; 7 headquarters of agencies and units in use but have not yet expired.
With the above number, the province basically meets the needs of arranging headquarters for provincial-level agencies and units when merging.
Regarding housing for officials from Binh Phuoc province to work in Dong Nai province, there are currently 3 housing projects being implemented in Bien Hoa city (a quantity of about 3,400 - 3,500 units), and at the same time, the working headquarters is being repaired into a temporary official house to serve civil servants.
At the meeting, Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that when implementing the organizational arrangement, many provincial-level civil servants from Binh Phuoc will come to Dong Nai to work, so it is necessary to prepare well the working headquarters and public housing.
The leader of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province also directed the Department of Construction to inspect and reclaim social housing used by the wrong subjects to arrange accommodation for civil servants. Study legal regulations, advise the province on documents recommending the Government to support the cost of renting and purchasing houses for civil servants who have to relocate after the merger of provinces.
According to the project to reorganize and reorganize administrative units at all levels and build a model of organizing local government at both levels approved by the Government, Binh Phuoc province and Dong Nai province will merge into a new province called Dong Nai province, the political - administrative center located in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.
Implementing the organizational arrangement of the political system of Binh Phuoc province merged with Dong Nai province, it is expected that the total number of civil servants continuing to work at the Binh Phuoc provincial level will work in Dong Nai about 1,670 people.
