On the afternoon of April 18, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the Truth National Political Publishing House to organize a National Scientific Conference "50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) - Issues raised and development orientation".

Concluding the workshop, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the content of the presentations mentioned and reflected many issues from the historical and cultural context, to the development, results and contributions of Vietnam's literature and art 50 years after the country's reunification.

At the same time, opinions also raised recommendations and solutions to continue building the Vietnamese literature and art to develop more and more, contributing to the implementation of the goals in the new era - the era of rising up, being rich and prosperous of our nation.

Discussions from many different perspectives have reached and agreed to affirm that Vietnamese literature and art over the past 50 years have had strong developments, profound and comprehensive innovations and achieved important achievements, continuing the mainstream of patriotism and humanity.

"Art literature over the past half century has persistently fostered and nurtured the soul and personality of Vietnamese people; preserved and promoted the national cultural identity. At the same time, it is a strong bond that strengthens people's hearts, heals war wounds, strongly arouses patriotism, self-reliance, self-strengthening will and strengthens the great national unity bloc" - Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized.

Create all conditions for artists to penetrate and closely follow the vibrant reality of the country

According to the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, based on the assessment of the current situation and forecast of development trends, the Workshop proposed tasks and solutions for the development of Vietnamese literature and art in the new era, the era of national growth.

In which, it unifies and raises awareness of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, artists and people about the position, role and mission of literature and art in the new era.

Institutionalize the Party's viewpoints, guidelines and orientations; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, continue to adjust and supplement policies to build and develop literature and art to ensure synchronization and efficiency.

Basically and comprehensively innovate policies to discover training, fostering, using, treating and honoring literary and artistic talents, creating a breakthrough in the development of the artists.

Create all favorable conditions for artists to penetrate, closely follow the vibrant reality of the country, accompany, and be closely attached to the work and creativity of the people.

Promote the development of research, theory, and literary and artistic criticism. Promote international exchanges and cooperation in the field of literature and art.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia also mentioned the content of implementing the policy of arranging the organization, innovating methods, improving the quality of activities of literary and artistic associations, ensuring streamlining, professionalism, effective, efficient and efficient operations.
