On April 18, a national scientific conference with the theme "Teaching and learning foreign languages at university level in the digital age" took place at the Academy of Journalism and Communication.

Within the framework of the workshop, experts, scientists and students focused on discussing: University-level foreign language teaching methods in the digital age; application of digital technology in lecture design and foreign language teaching content; Innovation of testing and assessment methods in teaching and learning foreign languages based on digital technology; Improving information technology capacity for foreign language teachers.

Experts also shared experiences and challenges in integrating technology into foreign language teaching; blended learning and online learning models in foreign language teaching; application of artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) in foreign language teaching;

Practical experiences and successful models in teaching foreign languages in higher education institutions, along with foreign language education policies and management in the context of digital transformation, were discussed and analyzed in depth at this workshop.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Luu Van Quang - Deputy Director of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the workshop aims to promote scientific research activities, while creating a high-quality academic forum for lecturers, researchers, and educational managers to exchange and share research results and teaching methods. From there, apply technology and experience in teaching and learning foreign languages at the university level, while seeking optimal solutions to improve teaching and learning efficiency in the context of strong digital transformation.
