Speeding up the progress of a traffic project worth over VND920 billion in Hai Phong

The leaders of Kien Thuy District Party Committee have just inspected the construction progress of the Investment Project to build a road connecting Provincial Road 354 through Kien Thuy Industrial Park to the coastal road in Doan Xa Commune. The project has a total investment of 924.238 billion VND from the Hai Phong City budget, starting on May 10, 2020.

According to the report, by April 14, the project had reached 70% progress. Specifically, for the construction progress of the contractor, Viet Uc Company (length of 6.28km from km 8+500 to km14+780) has completed the embankment work; completed the embankment of mountain soil for the roadbed of 4.5 km/6.28 km; and 1.6/6.28 km of layer 1 road surface. It is expected that the package will complete 100% of the first layer of road surface and open to traffic in June 2025.

The construction progress of the contractor, Hoang Loc Company (5.9 km long from km 3+100 to km8+500) has now completed the embankment of base A to 100%; the road surface of layer 1 is 3.5 km/5.4 km. It is expected that by the end of April 2025, the company will complete the remaining 100% of the first layer of road surface and open the bidding package.

The contractor, Phuong Dong Company, constructed a 1.64 km long road section from km 1+460 to km3+100. Up to now, the embankment work has been completed and the roadbed is under construction. It is expected that the items will be completed in August 2025.

Regarding the Hai Nam Company package (length 1.46km from km 0+00 to km1+460), it is expected to complete all items in June 2025.

Through on-site inspection at the project, Mr. Do Duc Hoa - Secretary of Kien Thuy District Party Committee requested the district's specialized agencies and investors to focus on removing difficulties, speeding up construction progress, ensuring quality and the set plan.
