Dak Lak - The authorities are collecting voters' opinions on the merger of commune-level administrative units in Dak Lak province.
On April 16, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that the unit had just issued a Plan to collect voters' opinions on representing households on the content of the project to arrange and merge provincial and commune-level administrative units in the province.
Accordingly, the consultation is carried out in the form of giving votes, applied to voters representing households living in localities directly affected by the arrangement. groups to collect opinions will be established in each village, hamlet, and residential group.
The list of voters will be made from April 15 to 17. The groups to collect opinions will be established at the commune level on April 15, with the Party Cell Secretary or Village Head, Residential Group Head as the Group Leader.
The time to collect voters' opinions is April 20. After that, the groups will summarize the results, make a record and send it to the People's Committee at the commune level before 8:00 a.m. on April 21.
Commune and district People's Committees and the Department of Home Affairs continue to carry out the steps of synthesizing and reporting the results, ensuring the progress to submit to People's Councils at all levels for consideration and voting from April 21 to 24.
The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee requires localities to seriously implement the process, ensure objectivity, transparency and progress, thereby creating consensus among the people on the arrangement of administrative units in the area.
