Preparing the groundbreaking ceremony to build an additional 6,229 social housing units in Ho Chi Minh City

On April 25, Becamex Investment and Industrial Development Group - JSC (abbreviated as Becamex Group) announced that the enterprise is preparing to start construction of 4 social housing projects with 6,229 apartments.

In which, in Chanh Hiep ward, the social housing project - area 3 Dinh Hoa with 1,178 units phase 1 and the social housing project - area 4 Dinh Hoa with 3,190 apartments are built.

These two large-scale social housing projects are expected to bring housing opportunities for nearly 9,000 low-income workers working in industrial parks: Dai Dang, Song Than 3, Kim Huy, VSIP, Dong An 2, My Phuoc 3, Nam Tan Uyen...

Thuan Giao ward will build a social housing project - zone 2 Viet Sing to build 938 apartments and a social housing project - zone 7 Viet Sing to build 923 apartments. These two projects are expected to bring housing opportunities for about 4,000 workers in VSIP 1 industrial parks, Viet Huong industrial park and workers working in businesses in Thuan An area.

Representatives of Becamex Group said that the above projects are completing legal procedures for implementation, and it is expected that the groundbreaking ceremony/starting of the projects can be held on the occasion of April 30th this year.

According to records, currently, Becamex Group is building a social housing project - zone 6 Viet Sing in Thuan Giao ward with 1,867 apartments and building a social housing area - zone 5 Dinh Hoa with 2,372 apartments. Projects are being accelerated, expected to be completed in 2027.
