President Luong Cuong meets with characters in the program Goodall

On the afternoon of April 16, 2025, at the Presidential Palace, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong had a friendly meeting with 100 delegates representing hundreds of characters in the program "Good deeds" of Vietnam Television. Also attending were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia.

According to VNA, speaking at the meeting, President Luong Cuong expressed his pleasure at meeting typical "Good deeds" characters, those who are kind-hearted, sharing-led and warm-hearted, contributing to making life more beautiful, meaningful and livable.

The President affirmed that all the people and stories in the program are a positive catalyst, touching the empathy and love in each of us. At the same time, he believes that each person has compassion, homage and faces, typical actions in the program have contributed to multiplying so that good things are spread widely and developed much more effectively.

The President said that it is necessary to further replicate sharing models, help those around them, replicate individuals and groups working for the community because we all need many hearts, hearts like today's 100 bright examples, creating positive energy sources, spreading love in the whole society.

Emphasizing that our country is striving to basically cover all social security activities by 2030, the President said that in the coming time, the State will implement institutional and legal improvement, especially social work and can promote and develop the "social work profession" to develop social work more, more widely, and take better care of the people.

The President also suggested that we must find a way to continue the journey of good people because many characters in the program are also old, some are still sick and need future generations, young people working well.

The President requested that Vietnam Television coordinate with the Standing Committee and relevant agencies of the Emulation and Reward Council of the Central and local governments to actively introduce typical examples of good people, good deeds, and exemplary kindness, so that the noble actions of typical examples can spread widely and be multiplied more in the whole society, as beloved Uncle Ho taught "a living example is worth more than a hundred propaganda speeches", contributing to the beauty of eliminating bad things, using goodness to repel bad things, urging the community to act together, creating an increasingly good, humane, and humane society.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the President highly appreciated and commended Vietnam Television and its accompanying units for actively and proactively implementing the "Kindness Work" program over the past 10 years, spreading more than 2,500 stories about kindness, along with many other humanitarian and volunteer programs; at the same time, he hoped that the "Kindness Work" program would further promote its role, find more characters and many examples across the country to spread widely to all people across the country.

The President believes that when good examples of people and good deeds are spread to society, it will urge the community to act, contributing to building a beautiful, civilized and happy Vietnam.
