Allocating capital of more than 11,500 billion VND to build 2 expressways through Binh Phuoc
Binh Phuoc - The two expressways passing through Binh Phuoc province will be allocated more than 11,500 billion VND for early construction.
On April 14, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province held a thematic session to approve the resolution to implement component project 1 to invest in the construction of the North-South expressway in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section under the public-private partnership method.
At the same time, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province approved the proposal to supplement the public investment capital plan from the central budget in 2025 for 2 expressway projects.
Accordingly, 1,000 billion VND will be allocated to build the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway. This expressway project has a 7km long section passing through Chon Thanh town, Binh Phuoc province.
Allocate VND10,536 billion to implement the North-South expressway in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section.
The Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) expressway project is 128.8km long, with a design of 4 lanes. Of which, the section through Dak Nong province will be implemented with 27.8km, through Binh Phuoc with more than 100km. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and put into operation in 2027. Binh Phuoc province is urgently starting construction of this expressway.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, when these two expressways are completed, they will be connected in Chon Thanh town. The project will help transport goods more economically; create momentum for socio-economic development in large areas in Binh Phuoc and Dak Nong.
