The Ministry of Science and Technology announces the decision on organization

At the ceremony, the representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel (TCCB) announced a number of changes in the organization and apparatus of the Ministry of Science and Technology after consolidating. Accordingly, the unified units of the two ministries and communications (TTTT) before and the Ministry of Science and Technology (before the consolidation) include: Conformity of 6 general advisory units of the two ministries, including: Personnel, Planning - Finance, Legal, Inspection, Ministry Office, International Cooperation.

Merge the Information Center of the Ministry of Information and Communications with the Information Technology Center (IT) of the Ministry of Science and Technology into the IT Center.

Merge the Department of Technology Development and Innovation (DMST) and the Department of Technology Application and Technical Progress into the Department of DMST.

Merge the Department of nuclear Energy and the Department of radiation and Nuclear Safety into the Department of radiation and Nuclear Safety.

Merge the Department of High Technology and the Department of Science and Technology of economic and technical sectors into the Department of Science, Technology and Technology.

Consolidating the TTTTTRC, training and retraining schools and managers of TTTT and Vietnam Science and Technology Magazine; The Academy of Science, Technology and Eve of the Ministry of Science and Technology becomes a Science and Technology Strategy Academy. The Academy is prescribed by the Prime Minister's functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure, so the consolidated units continue to operate until the Prime Minister issued decisions on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Science and Technology Strategy Academy.

5 units were renamed, including: Department of Digital and Digital Social Interior Digital Children to Digital Economic and Social Crop; The evaluation, evaluation and assessment of technology renamed into the evaluation and evaluation of technology; The Department of IT and Communications changed its name to the IT Industry Department; The Department of Market Development and Enterprises (DN) science and technology changed its name to the Industrial Enterprise Startup Department; The Department of Information, Statistics and Scientific evaluation changed its name to the Department of Information and Statistics.

Units ending operations: Department of Science and Technology of the former Ministry of Information and Communications; Department of Information Security of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung expressed his pleasure at attending the Conference to announce decisions on organization and staff under the new Ministry of Science and Technology and hand over decisions to the transferred and appointed staff. This is our first conference after the merger, marking a new development stage with a new vision and mission.

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung said that at present, the Ministry of Science and Technology has completed the merger of two ministries, the former Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Information and Communications. This is a challenging process, but with the joint efforts and consensus of all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, the results as today have been achieved.

The Minister emphasized that the merger of the two ministries is not only an organizational change but also has profound strategic significance, we not only inherit the achievements of the two previous ministries but also have the opportunity to create new breakthroughs.

The new Ministry of Science and Technology is built with the vision of becoming a pioneer in developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation. These are 3 important pillars for the country to break through, develop quickly and sustainably, becoming a high-income developed country by mid-century.
