More than 1 million air tickets to serve the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and April 30 - May 1
During the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday and April 30 - May 1 this year, the national airline is expected to offer nearly 1.12 million air tickets.
According to announcements from Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vasco), during the peak period of the holiday, the airlines plan to operate nearly 5,500 flights on the entire domestic and international flight network.
On the domestic flight network, it is expected that more than 3,800 flights will be operated by the airline, providing over 730,000 seats, an increase of about 13.3% in the number of flights and 16% in the number of seats compared to the same period in 2025. The load increase focuses on routes with high demand between economic centers and tourist destinations.
Notably, the routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang were increased by nearly 30% in number of seats compared to normal, especially the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City axis increased by about 12%. Tourist routes such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang, Phu Quoc increased by nearly 20%, while routes to Hue, Quy Nhon increased by an average of more than 5%.

In the international flight network, the airline is expected to operate nearly 1,700 flights, providing about 390 thousand seats, an increase of 13.4% in the number of flights and 14.4% in the number of seats respectively compared to the same period last year.
In the context that the aviation industry is still under pressure from fuel costs, airlines said they continue to maintain stable flight networks, while increasing flights flexibly to meet travel needs during holidays.
Airlines representatives recommend passengers to actively book seats and issue tickets early to facilitate the selection of routes and avoid overload during peak periods.
