National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sworn in
After being elected Chairman of the 16th National Assembly, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man performed the oath-taking ceremony.
On the morning of April 6, with 491/491 National Assembly deputies participating in the vote in favor, the 16th National Assembly passed a Resolution to elect Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Member of the Politburo, Chairman of the 15th National Assembly to hold the position of Chairman of the 16th National Assembly for the term 2026-2031.
Previously, the National Assembly secretly elected Politburo Member, Chairman of the 15th National Assembly Tran Thanh Man to hold the position of Chairman of the 16th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, term 2026 - 2031.
Under the sacred red flag with a yellow star of the Fatherland, before the National Assembly, voters nationwide, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sworn in:
Absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, to the people, to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, striving to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people".
