Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ben Tre province Ho Thi Hoang Yen said that the arrangement of commune-level administrative units aims to create favorable conditions for socio-economic development, improve the material and spiritual life of the people and facilitate state management in the locality.

Ben Tre Provincial Party Secretary Ho Thi Hoang Yen requested the Standing Committees of District Party Committees and City Party Committees to direct agencies to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs of Ben Tre province to collect public opinions on the content of the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and commune levels, to be completed no later than April 17.
