Ensuring absolute security for the P4G Conference

The 4th Summit of the Partnership Forum for Green Growth and Global Goals 2030 (P4G) with the theme "Sustainable Green Transformation, People at the Center" will be held in Hanoi from 14 - 17 April 2025. The event was attended by about 1,000 international delegates.

On April 14, according to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan - Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security - informed about the plan and implementation plan for ensuring security and safety for the conference.

Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan said that ensuring absolute security and safety for the P4G Conference of great political significance will contribute to the successful organization of the country's important foreign affairs event on the basis of compliance with international rules, practices and requirements.

Determining this as an important task of the entire People's Public Security force in the first 6 months of 2025, from the end of 2024, the Ministry of Public Security issued a Master Plan on ensuring security and order at the Conference, in which specifically identifying key working groups and assigning responsibilities to the Public Security of relevant units and localities.

The highest goal set by the Ministry of Public Security is: "Ensure absolute security and safety for the event, do not let sudden or unexpected events happen, do not let even the smallest mistakes happen".

To realize this goal, the Public Security of relevant units and localities has concretized the development and implementation of dozens of plans and solutions to ensure security and order, focusing on early, remote, and comprehensive implementation in all aspects of public security work.

Up to now, the basic tasks have all ensured progress and quality of implementation, including:

Carefully deploy plans to review and closely assess the situation, strengthen the fight against sabotage plots of opposition elements and all types of crimes, and neutralize risks that may harm the Conference early, from afar, from the outside.

Develop and implement specific plans and plans for arranging and assigning forces to ensure security and safety for events and meetings taking place within the framework of the Conference.

Closely follow and specify security and safety protection plans for Party and State leaders and international delegates attending the Conference. Concentrate forces and means of priority protection at the highest level, arrange officers to guard 24/24.

Strengthen cyber security, information security, and security, not to affect the conference.

According to Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, the Ministry of Public Security has promoted the role of a standing agency, assigning clear and specific tasks to each relevant agency, ministry, branch and locality such as: Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In particular, together with the Ministry of Health to coordinate with relevant agencies to develop and implement specific health plans, from disease prevention and control, response capabilities, ensuring that all international delegates and visitors are always given timely medical care.
