10 activities not to be missed at Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 with the theme "Ninh Binh - Heritage Journey Through Times" is organized to strongly promote the image, people and unique cultural and historical values of the ancient capital. This year's event is organized at the provincial level, directed by the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Tourism is the main implementing agency.

The activities of Tourism Week will take place in 10 days, expected at the end of May 2026. The organization space is expanded throughout the province, focusing on key areas such as: Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area, Trang An eco-tourism area, Tam Chuc tourist area (Tam Chuc ward), Thinh Long beach tourist area and coastal communes Hai Thinh, Hai Tien, Giao Ninh.

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 has a series of 10 typical activities:

The Opening Program is expected to take place at Dinh Tien Hoang Square with the participation of about 1,000 delegates. The highlight is the real-scene art program "Thousand Years of Painting" including 3 chapters, gathering more than 200 famous actors and artists, applying LED technology and modern lighting projection.

Tam Coc Golden Festival: Organized immediately after the opening day at Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area. Visitors will experience golden ripe rice fields, enjoy folk songs on the Ngo Dong River and participate in a unique agricultural offering procession.

Trang An Creative Music Festival (Forestival): A new breeze with the theme "Binh Minh Warriors", combining cinema, fine arts and multimedia art. In particular, the performance night on May 30th at Binh Minh Square (Bai Dinh pagoda mountain) promises to bring explosive experiences to young people.

Ninh Binh Sea Tourism Festival: Taking place from April 28 to May 1 at Thinh Long tourist area with the theme "Ninh Binh - From sacred mountains to vast sea", affirming the diversity of Ninh Binh's tourism ecosystem after merging administrative boundaries.

In addition, traditional cultural activities: Throughout the event are water puppetry performances, Cheo singing, Xam singing, and the Yosakoi Vietnam 2026 festival (Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange).
