Vinh Long establishes ward unions in 3 units
Vinh Long - In the last week of 2025, the Provincial Trade Union organized the establishment of ward trade unions in 3 units, and at the same time deployed tasks in early 2026.
According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, from December 29, 2025 to January 2, 2026, the Standing Committee will focus on directing the synchronous implementation of key tasks, ensuring smooth agency operations during the 2026 New Year.
In particular, the Provincial Federation of Labor strictly implemented the document of the Provincial People's Committee on hanging the national flag and the Party flag at the agency headquarters, and at the same time assigned cadres and civil servants to be on duty in accordance with regulations to promptly handle any arising work.
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor reported the results of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term at the request of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; deployed steps to introduce cadres and civil servants of the agency running for the Provincial People's Council delegates for the 2026-2031 term.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor also held a conference to establish ward unions in the three wards of Long Chau, Tra Vinh, and Nguyet Hoa; continued to guide the process of establishing ward and commune unions, promoted propaganda, mobilized the development of union members, established grassroots unions, and grassroots unions.
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor issued a notice of inspection conclusion for 3 grassroots unions, and at the same time supervised 2 grassroots unions to improve the effectiveness of grassroots union activities.
Notably, plans to organize the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" program in 2026 were issued, associated with the emulation movement to welcome the 14th National Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 term.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor will develop a plan to visit businesses, give gifts to union members in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year and organize a "Union Meal", demonstrating the practical care role for workers.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also directed the grassroots trade unions to coordinate in organizing the Conference of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in 2026; summarizing trade union activities in 2025, developing a work program for 2026 and launching a patriotic emulation movement among union members and workers.
In addition, the announcement of the schedule for receiving documents and settlement of grassroots trade union finances in 3 areas will be issued; at the same time, the first Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee Conference will be held to approve programs, regulations and assign tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
The Provincial Federation of Labor continues to prepare contents to serve the Conference summarizing trade union activities in 2025, as a basis for effective implementation of tasks in 2026.
