Another FDI enterprise in Da Nang has a Trade Union representing workers
Da Nang has just established a grassroots trade union at KR Auto Parts Vietnam Company, with the goal of increasing care and representation for workers.
On August 6, the Da Nang City Labor Federation announced that it had just held a ceremony to admit union members and establish a grassroots union (CDCS) at KR Auto Parts Vietnam Co., Ltd. - a company operating in Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park.
At the ceremony, representatives of the City Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 35 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union, and at the same time presented the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of KR Auto Parts Vietnam Co., Ltd. The provisional Executive Committee consists of 5 members, appointed by Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - working at the Quality Management Department - to hold the position of Chairman.
According to the Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, the establishment of a Trade Union organization in enterprises will be a solid foundation for building a harmonious and stable working environment, contributing to improving the sense of responsibility and production and business efficiency, while better protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
KR Auto Parts Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a foreign-invested enterprise, operating in the field of automobile components manufacturing, attracting many young workers. The establishment of the grassroots trade union here is the result of efforts to mobilize and closely support from the City Labor Federation in the past time.
