Establishing another enterprise-based trade union in Lam Dong
Lam Dong - The Provincial Federation of Labor organized the announcement of the decision to establish a new enterprise-based trade union with 76 union members.
The event was held on August 13 in Phu Son Lam Ha commune, Lam Dong province. The newly established unit is the Trade Union, Branch 1 - Blu Ocean Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company.
Here, representatives of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 76 employees working at this company into the Trade Union; the decision to establish the company's grassroots trade union.
At the same time, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Branch 1 - Blu Ocean Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company was announced, consisting of 5 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien - Deputy Director of Branch 1 Factory was appointed as Chairwoman of the Trade Union.
Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation also appointed the Inspection Committee of this grassroots Trade Union to consist of 3 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Tram - Deputy Business Director of Branch 1 was appointed as Vice Chairwoman and Chairwoman of the Trade Union Inspection Committee.
On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor presented 5 gifts to support workers in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 500,000 VND.
Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Ms. Pham Thi Le Dung said that this is the second grassroots union established by the unit in August 2025. This event is part of a series of activities of the unit, celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28).
Ms. Dung said that immediately after the merger of Lam Dong province, the unit assigned cadres in charge of each grassroots area, mobilized the development of union members, and established trade unions.
"The provincial trade union officials surveyed each enterprise, propagated and mobilized workers to join the Trade Union. At the same time, we are urging and supporting the mobilization committee to establish grassroots trade unions to prepare conditions for the decision announcement and launching ceremony of the trade union to be solemn, creating a deep impression, Ms. Pham Thi Le Dung shared.
