Establishing a grassroots trade union, admitting 502 union members of Sportline Apparel Vietnam LLC

On the afternoon of July 30, at Xuan To Industrial Park, Tinh Bien Ward, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce the decision to establish a grassroots trade union (CDCS) of Sportline Apparel Vietnam Company Limited; admit 502 employees of the company to the Vietnam Trade Union.

Specifically, the grassroots trade union under the Provincial Federation of Labor with 502 union members. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor appoints the Executive Committee and key positions in the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union. Mr. Nguyen Nhut Toan - Administrative Department employee holds the position of Chairman of the Trade Union. Appoint the Inspection Committee and key positions in the Trade Union Inspection Committee. Ms. Do Thi Kim Loan - General Affairs employee is Vice President of the Trade Union, Chairwoman.

According to the Provincial Federation of Labor, this event aims to implement the key work program of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee and implement the targets of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in 2025.

The conference to announce the decision not only brought propaganda, dissemination, and strong impact to units and enterprises that do not have a Trade Union organization but also created attraction for workers to participate in the Trade Union organization. Thereby enhancing the position and role in performing the tasks and functions of the Trade Union organization with union members and workers.
