Establishing 2 grassroots trade unions in Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation has just organized a Conference to announce the decision to establish 2 grassroots trade unions including: Grassroots Trade Union of Singwear Vietnam Co., Ltd. with 129 union members; Grassroots Trade Union of Habana Sport Trading and Service Co., Ltd. with 55 union members.

Attending the conference were Ms. Do Thi Hien - Chairwoman of Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation, along with business leaders and a large number of union members and workers.

At the conference, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation announced decisions to admit union members, establish grassroots trade unions, recognize the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of grassroots trade unions; and presented 6 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Do Thi Hien congratulated the newly established grassroots trade unions.

At the same time, he requested the grassroots trade union executive committee to promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

Strengthen coordination with businesses to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, contributing to the sustainable development of businesses.

Immediately after the conference, the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation visited and encouraged union members and workers working at the production workshop of Singwear Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The establishment of 2 more grassroots trade unions with 184 union members continues to affirm the effectiveness of union member development and building an increasingly strong trade union organization, truly being a reliable support for workers in the area.
