Establishment of 11 trade unions of communes and wards in Ca Mau province
Ca Mau - On the morning of July 30, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce the decision to establish a commune and ward trade union under the Provincial Federation of Labor.
After the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and no district-level government, Ca Mau province has 64 communes and wards. Based on regulations and actual situation at commune-level administrative units, Ca Mau province is eligible to establish 11 commune and ward trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Commune and ward trade unions have legal status, have their own seal and account, and fully perform their functions, tasks and powers according to the regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the instructions of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor announced and presented the Decision to establish 11 Commune and Ward Trade Unions including: Bac Lieu Ward, Gia Rai Ward, Tan Thanh Ward, An Xuyen Ward, Ly Van Lam Ward, Vinh Loi Commune, Phuoc Long Commune, Cai Nuoc Commune, Nam Can Commune, Thoi Binh Commune and Tran Van Thoi Commune. At the same time, the Decisions to appoint the Executive Committee of the Commune and Ward Trade Unions; key positions of the Commune and Ward Trade Unions were announced and awarded.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor Huynh Ut Muoi emphasized: The establishment of a Trade Union organization at the commune and ward levels is an important step in the work of consolidating and perfecting the trade union apparatus in the direction of streamlining and efficiency, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
The Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor requested the newly established team of commune and ward union officials to stabilize the organization; immediately deploy tasks; continue to promote intelligence, practical experience, improve work quality and efficiency, continue to do a good job of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
The day after its establishment, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor had a working session with 11 Executive Committees of the new Commune and Ward Trade Unions to grasp the thoughts and aspirations; answer questions from the leaders of the Commune and Ward Trade Unions.
