Hai Phong City Labor Federation establishes Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union with more than 6,600 union members

The Duong Kinh Ward Labor Union was established under Decision 256/QD-LDLD of the City Labor Federation, directed by the Hai Phong City Labor Federation to operate according to the regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union is assigned to monitor and manage 73 grassroots trade unions, with 6,663 union members in Duong Kinh Ward, Kien Thuy Commune, Kien Minh Commune, Kien Hai Commune, Kien Hung Commune, Nghi Duong Commune.

At the conference, the City Labor Federation announced the decision to establish a ward union and appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, the position of Vice Chairman; Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee consists of 9 people; appointed Mr. Bui Quang Trung - Specialist of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duong Kinh Ward as Vice Chairman in charge of the Ward Trade Union; the Ward Trade Union Inspection Committee consists of 3 people, Ms. Pham Thi Hang, Vice President of the Women's Union of Duong Kinh Ward as the head.

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation suggested that immediately after the conference, the Ward Labor Union Executive Committee quickly complete the regulations, programs, and activities. In particular, focusing on a number of key targets and tasks such as developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; taking care of the lives of union members and workers, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year. The Vice President of the City Labor Federation also hopes that the local government will pay attention and create conditions for the Ward Labor Union to successfully complete its tasks, effectively implement activities and movements among employees, and contribute to the development of the locality.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Quang Trung - Vice Chairman in charge said that he will work with the Ward Union Executive Committee to strive, unite, democratically, and promote the highest sense of responsibility to successfully complete the assigned tasks. In particular, continuing to improve the apparatus, improve the capacity of the staff, listen to the opinions of union members and workers. Along with that, innovate the method of operation to suit the new situation, be proactive and creative in attracting and gathering union members. At the same time, closely follow the grassroots to grasp the situation of union members and workers, apply information technology in connecting, grasping, and sharing information with union members and workers in the fastest and most effective way.
