More than 1,000 new union members join Nha Trang Ward Trade Union

Khanh Hoa - In the first 6 months of 2026, Nha Trang Ward Trade Union coordinated to establish 24 grassroots trade unions, developing more than 1,000 union members.

On July 17, Nha Trang Ward Trade Union said that the unit had just organized a conference to summarize trade union activities in the first 6 months of 2026 and successfully and well deploy tasks for the last 6 months of the year.

At the conference, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to establish and launch 18 grassroots trade unions in Nha Trang ward.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Ward Trade Union focused on implementing key programs such as: "Improving the effectiveness of collective dialogue and negotiation in the period 2023 - 2028"; promoting propaganda of the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State and emulation movements "Good Labor", "Creative Labor".

The work of caring for union members continues to be focused on with the allocation of 660 vouchers and 1,000 gifts from the support source of superiors; organizing the "0-dong booth" program; supporting Tet gifts for 130 union members in difficult circumstances; deploying the model "Trade Union Hands - Warm Sea and Island Love".

Notably, the work of developing trade union organizations achieved many positive results.

In the first 6 months of the year, Nha Trang Ward Trade Union coordinated to mobilize the establishment of 24 grassroots trade unions, developed more than 1,000 union members, and introduced 47 outstanding union members for Party organizations to consider admitting.

In the last 6 months of the year, Nha Trang Ward Trade Union determined to focus on implementing 8 key tasks, prioritizing taking care of the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members; launching emulation movements to improve labor productivity and promote digital transformation in trade union activities.

Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee - acknowledged the results achieved by Nha Trang Ward Trade Union in the past time.

According to Mr. Thanh, with the advantage of being a central area, concentrating many enterprises with a scale of 20 employees or more, Nha Trang ward still has a lot of potential to develop trade union organizations.

He proposed that in the coming time, the Ward Trade Union continue to promote the development of union members, establish grassroots trade unions at eligible enterprises; and at the same time build many practical activities to meet the needs of union members and workers.

In addition, grassroots trade unions need to strengthen propaganda and promptly disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and regulations directly related to the rights and interests of workers.
