Gia Lai establishes Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union
Gia Lai - On October 1, the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) announced the decision to establish the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union, officially operating from September 26.
After establishment, Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union managed 58 grassroots trade unions with 4,428 union members in Binh Dinh, An Nhon, An Nhon Dong and An Nhon Bac wards.
The Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union for the 2023 - 2028 term.
Accordingly, Mr. Ho Xuan Thuyet - specialist of the Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of Binh Dinh Ward - was appointed to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union; the Executive Committee consisted of 7 people.
Up to now, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor has established 3 commune unions: Phu Cat, Phu My and Tay Son; 7 ward unions are Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Bac, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Nam, Hoai Nhon Nam, Tam Quan and Binh Dinh. In addition, before the merger, the old Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor established 4 ward unions.
