Awarding prizes for the contest to learn about the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress

According to the Propaganda Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), the contest takes place in 2 phases.

Phase 1 from 10.5 - 2.6.2024. The contest attracted 1,060,438 registrants with 2,164,346 test-takers.

In which: Union officials participated: 592,552 exams; union members: 1,390,633; workers: 181,161.

The unit with the largest number of contestants: 91,648 people, the unit with the least number of contestants is 226 people. There were 140,215 contestants participating in all 3 weeks. The number of tests with the maximum score increases gradually with each exam week.

The contest reached nearly 5 million shares on Facebook. At the same time, it was spread and shared by trade unions at all levels on teams and groups, calling and guiding union members and workers to participate in the contest on social networks.

In phase 2 (starting from June 1 to June 20, 2024), the Organizing Committee of the contest received 52 entries from provincial and municipal Labor Federations, central industry unions and equivalent, and general corporation unions under the General Confederation. The contest entries were posted on the Contest Portal and received 403,534 votes and 85,535 shares of the contest entries from the units on social networks.

According to Ms. Vu Thi Giang Huong, Member of the Presidium, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the entries received positive reviews from the Jury and votes from union members and workers. Many entries have shown creativity and exploration to attract and improve the effectiveness of the Resolution's propaganda work.

Through skits and presentations, many entries presented new ideas and ways of organizing the study and implementation of the Resolution; good ideas, models, and solutions in each field of trade union activities to realize the goals, breakthroughs, and targets of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The contest achieved the set goals and requirements with many very encouraging results. That is, widely propagating the glorious tradition of the working class; 95 years of building and growing of the Vietnam Trade Union among union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and the whole society.

In addition, focus on conveying the spirit and disseminating the core content of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor so that each union member, employee, and union official can grasp and organize the implementation of the Resolution correctly, creatively, effectively, and successfully complete the goals, targets, and breakthroughs that were resolved at the Congress, and key tasks of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2024.

As a result of the contest, in phase 1, there were 27 individual prizes awarded weekly, 8 collective prizes for the best organizing units. Phase 2 witnessed a fierce competition with 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 7 third prizes and 1 prize for the contest with the most votes.
