Picking up a wallet with 6 million VND, the man took it to the police to return it to its owner
Lam Dong - A man picked up a wallet on the street, containing a lot of money and papers, so he brought it to ask the police to return it to the person who dropped it.
On May 17, Phu Thuy Ward Police, Lam Dong province said that they had supported the return of the wallet to people who dropped it in the area.
Previously, Mr. Vo Duy Do (born 1986, residing in Ham Thuan Nam commune) while traveling on Hung Vuong street, Phu Thuy ward, picked up a wallet.
Checking inside, Mr. Do discovered about 6 million VND in cash and many important personal papers.
After picking up the property, Mr. Do proactively brought the wallet to Phu Thuy Ward Police to report, asking functional forces to help find the person who dropped it to return it.

Upon receiving information, the on-duty police of Phu Thuy Ward proceeded to verify the owner of the wallet through relevant documents and information. Through verification, functional forces identified the owner of the property as Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Diep.
The ward police then contacted and invited Ms. Diep to the headquarters to complete procedures to receive the property back. After comparing the information, the wallet along with all papers and cash inside was handed over to the owner.
According to Phu Thuy Ward Police, Mr. Vo Duy Do's action is a beautiful gesture, showing the spirit of honesty, responsibility and community awareness. At the same time, the local police force also promptly supported people to receive their lost property back.
