Promoting the role of the Front in site clearance of Ring Road 2.5 in Thanh Xuan

In the process of implementing site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project section passing through Thanh Xuan ward, the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front ward and mass organizations is clearly shown, making an important contribution to creating consensus among the people and ensuring project implementation progress.

With the function of being a bridge between the Party, government and people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Xuan ward has proactively coordinated with socio-political organizations to strengthen grasping public opinion at the grassroots level, especially in residential areas with households in the land clearance area.

Through the Front Work Committee system and residential groups, two-way information channels are maintained regularly, helping to promptly reflect the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the people to the Party committees and authorities; and at the same time provide official and complete information about the State's guidelines and policies, limiting the emergence of hot spots and complex complaints.

A highlight in the implementation process is the construction and implementation of the skillful mass mobilization model of the Vietnam Fatherland Front ward with the content "Skillful in propaganda, mobilizing people to implement site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project". The model promotes clear effectiveness when taking people as the center, taking consensus as the goal.

6 Fatherland Front Working Committees in residential areas directly "went through every alley, knocked on every door", persistently propagating and explaining the meaning and importance of the project for urban infrastructure development and improving the quality of life.

The clearest proof is the result that 100% of households agreed to hand over the land without coercion, and no complaints arose. Many households, even though they have not received compensation and resettlement money, still trusted and signed minutes and are ready to relocate and hand over the land to serve the demolition of works on the land.

In addition to propaganda, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Xuan ward also pays attention to listening and dialogue. The Vietnam Fatherland Front ward presides over and unions have proactively met and exchanged directly with households, especially those who are still concerned and have problems. People's opinions and recommendations are recorded, summarized and promptly reflected to functional agencies for consideration and resolution.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front ward also promotes the role of supervising the implementation of policies related to compensation, support, resettlement, supervising the site handover process... The supervision is carried out with the participation of people's representatives, ensuring objectivity and transparency, thereby contributing to protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of households affected by the project.

At the same time, the unit fully participates in conferences of the compensation and resettlement council, contributes opinions to approve drafts, decides on compensation and resettlement plans for households. Actively cares for social security for the elderly, policy families, vulnerable people... subject to site clearance. Has opinions to participate with the government in the work of preparing and approving compensation and resettlement plans for branch churches - clan churches, ancient houses in the Ancient Village of Nhan Chinh - Chinh Kinh area...

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Xuan ward, the units have mobilized maximum manpower to go to each household to propagate, explain, and support people in the land clearance process.

Mr. Hai said that mass organizations such as the Women's Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and Veterans Association are also actively mobilizing members, union members and families to comply with the policy of site clearance, promoting the exemplary role of officials and party members in residential areas.
