Police provide emergency support, rescue 5-year-old girl fainting while waiting for ferry in Hai Phong
Hai Phong - In the afternoon of May 3, the City Police informed that the Cat Hai Special Zone Police had just driven a priority vehicle to take a 5-year-old child to the emergency room.
While the flow of people was pouring onto Cat Ba Island during the April 30th holiday, an emergency situation occurred when a 5-year-old child suddenly fainted due to low blood pressure while waiting for the ferry. Specifically, at about 9 am on April 30th, while lining up with his family to wait for the ferry to Cat Ba, the child showed signs of fatigue, low blood pressure and fainted. In the midst of heavy traffic and the family being extremely panicked, two police officers of Cat Hai Special Zone Police who were on duty regulating traffic here immediately arrived.
In particular, soldiers Do Minh Thanh and Pham Quang Huy quickly performed first aid on the spot for the baby. Realizing that the situation needed urgent medical intervention, soldier Pham Quang Huy took the baby onto the priority vehicle, turned on the horn to overcome the congested road section, and took him straight to the nearest hospital.
Not stopping there, the police officers were directly on duty at the hospital, exchanging carefully with doctors to ensure that the baby was treated promptly. Currently, the baby's health has stabilized and he has been discharged from the hospital. The baby's family also sent thanks to the 2 police officers of Cat Hai Special Zone for their timely action, helping people in critical situations.
