Hai Phong Trade Union discusses solutions to coordinate the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW

On the morning of October 3rd, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation organized a seminar "Improving the effectiveness of coordination between Trade Unions and professionals in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation".

The seminar focused on exchanging and clarifying the role of Trade Union organizations and professionals in concretizing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, especially at universities and colleges in the city.

One of the contents raised is to raise awareness and responsibility of school leaders, specialized units and Trade Union organizations in implementing tasks on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Based on the functions and tasks of each party, it is necessary to clearly identify specific and practical coordination contents, associated with the implementation organization mechanism and evaluation of results.

The seminar also focused on discussing solutions to promote the role of the Trade Union in promoting the creative labor movement, scientific research and technology application; building a favorable environment for officials, lecturers, and workers to promote their capacity and initiatives; and at the same time strengthening the connection between schools, trade unions and businesses.

At the seminar, delegates presented many papers related to practice at the grassroots level. In which, the Trade Union of Vietnam Maritime University shared the model "Trade Union Accompanying - Elevating VMU's Academic Stature", focusing on innovating Trade Union activities in developing scientific human resources and digital transformation.

The Trade Union of Hai Duong University presented a paper on improving the effectiveness of coordination between the Trade Union and professionals in promoting innovation, scientific research and digital transformation according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW. The Trade Union of Hai Phong University shared experiences in mobilizing, accompanying, creating motivation and spreading the scientific research movement among officials and employees.

Speaking at the seminar, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - Vice President of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation said: "The Organizing Committee wishes to receive heartfelt opinions from school leaders, scientists, trade union officials and delegates attending.

Each practical experience, each effective model and each specific proposal will contribute to clarifying the coordination method between Trade Unions and professionals, thereby better promoting the potential, intelligence and creativity of the team of officials, lecturers, and workers".

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, through the seminar, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation expects the coordination relationship between the Trade Union organization and professionals at universities and colleges to continue to be consolidated and innovated in a practical and effective direction.

Through this, the Trade Union organization continues to affirm its role as a bridge between workers and school leaders, accompanying professionals in human resource development, promoting innovation and making practical contributions to the rapid and sustainable development of Hai Phong city.
