Bringing a warm Tet to people in Dien Bien border area
Dien Bien - Hundreds of gifts and 0-dong booths have just been coordinated by the Provincial Labor Federation to be implemented in the border commune of Sin Thau.
The Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just coordinated with Sen Thuong Border Guard Station, Sin Thau commune and the "Golden Heart" Hanoi Charity Group to organize the program "Border and Island Spring - Tet filled with military-civilian affection".
Attending were Mr. Tan Minh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation; Colonel Le Duc Nghia - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command; Mr. Bui Duc Phuong - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, Deputy Director of the Provincial General Hospital; along with officers, soldiers and people of ethnic groups in Sin Thau commune.
At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 100 Tet gifts and banh chung to 100 households in difficult circumstances. Sen Thuong Border Guard Station also supported 5 exemplary students in the "Raising Steps for Children to School" program and the "Children Raised at Border Guard Stations" model.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a "0-dong booth", giving 186 gifts, including essential foods such as cooking oil, fish sauce, confectionery... to the people of Sin Thau border commune. At the same time, the Trade Union of the Provincial General Hospital organized medical examination, health consultation and free medicine distribution activities for the people.
Also on February 7, the grassroots Trade Union of Pha Din Coffee Cooperative (Tuan Giao Commune Trade Union, Dien Bien) organized "New Year's Eve Meal" for 19 union members.
At the program, leaders of Tuan Giao Commune Trade Union visited, encouraged and presented gifts from Party and State leaders to 3 union members in particularly difficult circumstances, each gift including 2 million VND in cash and 1 gift; presented gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 2 union members in difficult circumstances, each gift including 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift.
On this occasion, Pha Din Coffee Cooperative presented 14 gifts to union members, each gift worth 250,000 VND.
