Trade Union Tet Market promotes consumption of Vietnamese goods
Along with the production process at factories and workshops on the occasion of Binh Ngo 2026 Lunar New Year, Son La Provincial Trade Unions at all levels have implemented many activities to care for union members and workers, notably the online program "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026".
In Son La, the Provincial Federation of Labor was allocated support to 2. 050 union members, with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND. Beneficiaries are union members with outstanding achievements in labor and production; actively participating in union activities; union members with difficult circumstances and low income. The large and widespread scale of support clearly demonstrates the concern of the Trade Union organization for the lives of union members and workers, especially in mountainous areas like Son La.
The highlight of this year's program is the application of e-voucher support, allowing union members to proactively shop online, flexible in time and space. The items on the "Union Tet Market" are all controlled in terms of quality and preferential prices, helping union members feel secure in their choices.
Ms. Thai Thi Mai - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the whole province has sent over 50 grassroots union officials to directly accompany union members throughout the program, from the stage of registration, receiving e-vouchers, placing orders to handling arising situations.
This direct support is especially meaningful for older union members or those with little access to technology. The union staff gave specific instructions step by step, from how to choose products, enter delivery addresses, confirm orders to save successful order status. Many grassroots trade unions also flexibly set up online support groups to promptly resolve problems, contributing to increasing the success rate of orders.
According to statistics from the Provincial Federation of Labor, up to now, the whole province has 1. 516/2. 050 orders were successfully placed by union members through the online "Union Tet Market" platform. Through the survey, the majority of union members and workers highly appreciated the program with the advantages of abundant goods, simple operations, guaranteed quality, suitable for practical working conditions.
Taking advantage of her lunch break, Ms. Ha Thi Tam - a worker at Co Do Moc Chau Tea Joint Stock Company, Thao Nguyen Ward - opened her phone to place an order. She shared: "Thanks to the 500 support voucher. For 1,000 VND, I can choose many essential items for my family during Tet. This year, shopping is much more convenient because there are union officials who guide me step by step". For Ms. Tam, announcing a successful order is also the time to clearly feel the atmosphere of Tet approaching.
Not only does it mean caring for life, the online "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" is also associated with the goal of promoting the consumption of Vietnamese goods, responding to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". Through the unified platform, the Trade Union organization has contributed to expanding domestic product distribution channels, forming safe and controlled consumption habits.
From the proactiveness of union members, the responsible support of union officials to flexible organization, close to the grassroots, the program has created a positive effect in the days leading up to Tet. This activity not only helps workers feel more secure about their lives but also strengthens their confidence in the role and position of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the rights of union members.
