Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 brings joy to union members

According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, from October 30, 2025, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union issued Plan No. 793/KH-CDXD on organizing the "Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" Program online and has proactively coordinated and guided trade unions at all levels to synchronously and promptly implement the Tet care policy of the Trade Union organization to union members and workers in the entire industry.

This is a program implemented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor nationwide, aiming at union members with outstanding achievements in union activities and union members with difficult circumstances and low income. Accordingly, each union member is supported with 500,000 VND through electronic shopping vouchers (e-voucher).

The Vietnam Construction Trade Union alone was allocated 2,500 support packages, demonstrating a large scale and practical concern for the lives of union members and workers in the construction industry.

Organizing the program online via e-voucher has brought many conveniences for union members to proactively shop on the official platform, ensuring transparency, safety, flexibility in time and diverse choices of essential items for Tet. This form is especially suitable for the nature of working in shifts, while limiting large gatherings compared to the traditional Tet market model.

To effectively implement the program, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union has assigned 80 union officials to directly support union members throughout the registration process, receive e-voucher codes, place orders and handle arising situations. Many grassroots trade unions have proactively established support groups, promptly guiding union members from product selection, information entry, order confirmation to monitoring successful ordering status.

At many affiliated units, the program has created an exciting atmosphere since the first days of implementation. Union members and workers highly appreciate the convenience and ease of use of online shopping platforms, the richness of goods as well as their suitability for actual needs. In particular, the close companionship and support of the union staff has helped union members feel secure and not be surprised when approaching new forms of shopping.

According to statistics, up to now, more than 1,500 orders have been successfully placed by union members in the construction industry through the online "Union Tet Market" platform. This result not only shows the positive response of union members and workers but also affirms the effectiveness of applying digital transformation in the work of caring for Tet of the Trade Union organization.
