Businesses install air conditioners, cook summer cooling sweet soup for workers

Recently, Hai Hau Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company (Ninh Binh) installed a large-capacity industrial air conditioning system at all production workshops. This investment helps workers have a more comfortable working environment, no longer worrying about the heat every summer.

Ms. Tran Thi Trang - a company trade union official - said that the decision to install air conditioners was made after the business listened to the opinions of employees, and at the same time fulfilled its commitment to take care of workers' lives.

According to Ms. Trang, to ensure that the air conditioning system can operate continuously throughout the working hours, the company also invests in a solar power system. Thanks to that, electricity costs are reduced, and air conditioners no longer have to be turned on at certain times but can operate almost all day.

Ms. Nguyen Kim Ngan - a garment worker at the factory - said that since the factory installed air conditioning, work has become more comfortable, and spirit and health have also improved significantly.

Working in a cool environment is the desire of workers every summer. No longer the scene of sweat dripping or hot weather causing mental stress, so everyone works more efficiently, and goods are delivered on schedule," Ms. Ngan said.

In addition to Hai Hau Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, many other businesses in Ninh Binh such as Tuan Duyen Garment Co., Ltd. or ATU II Import-Export Garment Joint Stock Company have also deployed the installation of air conditioners to reduce heat for workers in the hot season.

Not only investing in cooling equipment, many businesses also pay attention to workers' health care regimes with practical activities.

Since the beginning of May, Pro Sports Hong Thuan Company (Ninh Binh) has organized regular black bean sweet soup cooking weekly on hot sunny days to serve workers.

A company representative said that cups of tea in the summer not only help cool down but are also a "spiritual vitamin dose", adding energy for workers to overcome fatigue and feel secure at work.

This is a small gift containing the sincere concern of the company's Board of Directors for officials and employees. Each cup of tea is an encouragement, understanding of the efforts of brothers and sisters in each working hour," the manager shared.

Mr. Tran Van Giap - a worker working at the company - said that cool cups of tea after work help the body feel more comfortable, dispel feelings of fatigue and heat.

Every time I drink tea after work, I feel my body is energized. Everyone is excited and more comfortable," Mr. Giap said.

According to Mr. Giap, before that, the company also renovated the ventilation fan system, replacing all cool fans with high-capacity ceiling fans with wide wingspans. Thanks to this, airflow is evenly distributed throughout the workshop, helping the working space to be more airy and comfortable on days with high temperatures.
