Dialogue with business owners, increase welfare for workers
Amidst the specific difficulties of traffic construction enterprises in remote and isolated areas, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Trung Kien Co., Ltd. (Gia Lai) - is always a solid "bridge" between workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
More than 23 years of attachment to Trung Kien Co., Ltd., from the position of general accountant to Head of Organization - Administration Department cum Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang has always been trusted by union members and workers for her sense of responsibility, closeness and dedication to work.
In the period 2023-2025, dialogue and collective negotiation activities at Trung Kien Co., Ltd. achieved many positive results. Under the close coordination between the Trade Union Executive Committee and business leaders, employee conferences are organized regularly, creating conditions for employees to directly express their thoughts, aspirations, and propose issues related to their rights and working conditions.
As a business operating in the field of construction of transport projects, workers often work scattered at many projects far from the center, and living conditions are still difficult. However, Ms. Trang and the Trade Union Executive Committee always proactively grasp the situation and promptly propose appropriate care policies for workers.
Worthy insurance regime and salary and bonus for employees
Not only ensuring full regimes on salaries, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, the company also implements many more beneficial policies for employees through collective labor agreements.
Every year, workers receive a salary increase of 1-2 million VND/month; average income in 2025 reaches 13.5 million VND/person/month.
In particular, many welfare regimes are maintained effectively such as support for sightseeing and relaxation; support for female union members on March 8th and October 20th; giving gifts to workers' children on International Children's Day and Mid-Autumn Festival; support for marriage, sickness, maternity, and unexpected difficulty allowances...
For workers constructing in remote and isolated areas such as Kong Chro district, the company also supports additional meal money of 1.8 million VND/person/month; arranges accommodation and preventive medicine so that workers can feel secure in their work.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang, effective dialogue must start from listening and practical companionship with workers. Therefore, in addition to periodic dialogues, trade unions also coordinate with businesses to apply information technology, integrate exchanges in work groups to receive feedback quickly and promptly solve arising difficulties.

With outstanding contributions, the grassroots Trade Union of Trung Kien Co., Ltd. continuously achieved the title of excellent completion of tasks in the 2023-2025 period. Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang personally has been awarded the title of Grassroots Emulation Soldier for many years, and has been awarded many certificates of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation for outstanding achievements in trade union activities.
