Can Tho City Labor Federation's grassroots trade union held a meeting on October 20

On October 20, the grassroots trade union of the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025), combined with the "Ba Ba's shirt-shaping" and Trade Union costume elegance contest in 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Cong Khanh - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation and Head of the Trade Union Work Committee - sent his congratulations and gratitude for the contributions of the female cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Can Tho City Labor Federation. At the same time, I hope that the women will continue to promote their talents, courage and complete the assigned tasks well.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Kieu - Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Trade Union - said that the meeting not only showed the concern of the City Labor Federation but also to express gratitude for the contributions of female cadres, civil servants and public employees in the past time. In particular, after the merger, this will be a playground for female cadres, civil servants and public employees of the three localities to exchange, learn and connect with each other more.

From there, it motivates and helps people to be more and more proactive and actively participate in cultural and artistic movements at the grassroots level, worthy of being examples of "Good at public work, good at home work".

The contest brought impressive performances of Ao Ba Ba and Union costumes; talent performances and attractive lucky draw entertainment programs, contributing to creating a joyful atmosphere for the meeting. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 3 Encouragement Prizes to the participating teams.

On this occasion, the Can Tho City Labor Federation Trade Union also congratulated union members who had birthdays in the quarter.
