Mr. Lam Van Tan elected as Vice Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation
Can Tho - Mr. Lam Van Tan was elected to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation term I, term 2025-2030.
On August 24, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized the fourth Conference of the Executive Committee of the Can Tho City LĐLĐ.
At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation agreed on the election of additional members of the Executive Committee, members of the Standing Committee and the title of Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation term I, term 2025 - 2030.
Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation conducted a secret ballot to elect 1 comrade to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and the position of Vice Chairman of Can Tho Labor Federation term I, term 2025 - 2030.
With a serious and responsible spirit, the delegates participated in the election process. As a result, Mr. Lam Van Tan - former Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Thanh Commune Party Committee - was elected to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and held the position of Vice Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation term I, term 2025 - 2030.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City - requested Mr. Lam Van Tan to quickly approach the task, firmly grasp the functions, tasks, and methods of operation of the Trade Union organization.
At the same time, it is necessary to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of Trade Union activities in a practical direction, towards grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center; Pay attention to building a truly strong Trade Union organization and team of trade union officials, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new conditions.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City also requested the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation, based on the election results, to urgently assign specific tasks suitable to the capacity and strengths of each comrade; create conditions for new officials to quickly access work, promote capacity and experience; continue to maintain and consolidate solidarity and unity in the leadership collective and the entire City Trade Union system.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Lam Van Tan expressed his emotion and thanked the trust of the city leaders and the Executive Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation; and affirmed that he will strive, promote the spirit of responsibility, and work with the collective to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
