Dien Hong Ward Trade Union manages nearly 2,400 union members
Gia Lai - Ward Trade Union promotes propaganda and mobilization for workers to raise awareness, voluntarily participate and establish trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
On August 6, the Dien Hong Ward Trade Union, Gia Lai Province held a Conference to announce the Decision to receive grassroots trade unions and deploy trade union work.
The Dien Hong Ward Labor Union is currently managing 2,393 union members and 39 grassroots unions, transferred from the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation.
Speaking at the Conference to announce the decision to receive grassroots trade unions, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dien Hong Ward Party Committee - said: Establishing the Dien Hong Ward Trade Union and assigning the management of grassroots trade unions under enterprises and public service units that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the State budget is a new model.
Therefore, in the implementation process, it is inevitable that there will be initial difficulties and problems. Ms. Thuy suggested that the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Trade Union should continue to strongly innovate the organization and operation of the trade union; closely follow the grassroots, perform well the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, participate in building a strong team of workers, civil servants, and laborers, contributing to the sustainable development of the locality.
Ms. Chau Hong Nhi - Chairman of Dien Hong Ward Trade Union - affirmed that in 2025, the unit will implement the theme "Focus on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party".
The ward union will promote propaganda and mobilization so that workers raise awareness, voluntarily participate and establish a union organization at the grassroots level.
At the same time, focus on improving the quality of union members and the effectiveness of grassroots union activities. The Trade Union will also guide and implement the assessment and classification of grassroots trade unions at the end of the year, ensuring compliance with regulations and substance.
