Da Nang - Hai Chau Ward Trade Union has just organized a meeting to update domestic and international current affairs for union members.
Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City organizes a conference to inform domestic and international current affairs for grassroots trade union officials and members.
The conference was attended by the speaker, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, former Director of the Department of Propaganda and Training - General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
At the program, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tuan shared and updated information about current affairs in the country and the world in the past time. This is an activity to raise political and ideological awareness for trade union officials and union members at the grassroots level.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tuan also acknowledged the attentive listening of the delegates attending. He expressed his wish that in the next political activities, trade union members will participate fully to promptly receive official information sources.
Mr. Cao Huu Tien, a union member of the Trade Union of the Hope Village Center for nurturing and educating disadvantaged children, shared that the information at the talk was very useful. He and his colleagues gained more knowledge to grasp the situation and disseminate it to members at the unit.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, informed: "Grasping current affairs information contributes to raising awareness of each person. From this knowledge, comrades will transfer it to union members at the unit, friends, comrades and even family members".
The Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union also expressed his wish that in the next political activities, the number of union members participating will be more sufficient to ensure the effectiveness of receiving information from the grassroots level.
