New monthly allowances for Village Team Leaders in Hung Yen from July 1, 2026
Village militia commanders in Hung Yen receive a monthly allowance increase from July 1, 2026 when the base salary increases.
According to Resolution No. 794/2025/NQ-HĐND of the People's Council of Hung Yen province (regulating the monthly allowance level for Village Team Leaders, labor day allowance for militia forces in Hung Yen province), the monthly allowance level for Village Team Leaders is as follows:
Villages and residential groups with fewer than 350 households: the allowance level for Village Team Leaders is equal to 0.8 times the base salary/person/month.
Villages and residential groups with 350 to 500 households: the allowance level for Village Team Leaders is 0.9 times the base salary/person/month.
Villages and residential groups with over 500 households: the allowance level for Village Team Leaders is equal to 1.0 times the base salary/person/month.
The current base salary is 2,340,000 VND/month, according to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP.
According to Decree No. 161/2026/ND-CP, the base salary from July 1, 2026 is 2,530,000 VND/month.
Thus, from July 1, 2026, the monthly allowance for Village Military Commanders in Hung Yen will increase compared to the present, according to the increase in the base salary.
Specifically, from July 1, 2026:
Villages and residential groups with fewer than 350 households: the allowance level for Village Team Leaders is equal to 2,024,000 VND/person/month (0.8 times the base salary).
Villages and residential groups with 350 to 500 households: the allowance level for Village Team Leaders is equal to 2,277,000 VND/person/month (0.9 times the base salary).
Villages and residential groups with over 500 households: the allowance level for Village Team Leaders is equal to 2. 530,000 VND/person/month (1 times the base salary level).
