Trade unions provide support to workers in difficult circumstances right in the Trade Union Meal Program

On the occasion of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health, the Trade Union of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a Trade Union Meal. Attending were Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh - Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Export Processing Zones of Hanoi.

Each meal at the Program is worth 80,000 VND, of which the Company spends 30,000 VND, and the Trade Union spends 50,000 VND. The Trade Union meal has 6 meal samples with main dishes such as shrimp, Hemibagrus, chicken thighs, pork belly, beef... for workers to choose according to their portion size. Not only does the amount of food and nutrition increase compared to normal days, but each meal also has an additional can of soft drink.

The Trade Union Meal program is even more meaningful when the Company's Trade Union provides allowances to 20 workers in difficult circumstances. Each allowance includes 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 500,000 VND.
