Trade union awards 150 gifts and scholarships to children of union members in difficult circumstances
Dak Lak - Before the new school year, the Trade Union of Tuy An Bac commune awarded 150 gifts and scholarships to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
On August 23, Tuy An Bac Commune Trade Union (Dak Lak province) informed that the unit organized a program to award gifts and scholarships to students who are children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the new school year 2026–2027.
At the program, the Trade Union of Tuy An Bac commune presented 120 gifts, including school supplies and rice, with a total value of 37 million VND.
At the same time, 30 scholarships were awarded, each worth 500,000 VND, to students who are children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
These people are all operating at grassroots trade unions in Dong Bac Song Cau Industrial Park.
Mr. Tran Truong Thanh, Chairman of Tuy An Bac Commune Trade Union, said that although the gifts and scholarships are not of great material value, they contain the feelings, responsibility and companionship of the trade union organization and agencies, units, and businesses towards union members, workers and future generations.
This is a practical source of encouragement, contributing to helping students have more conditions to prepare for the new school year, overcome difficulties, be obedient, study well, nurture dreams and rise up in their studies.
