Sakurai Company's Trade Union continues to innovate, taking better care of union members

Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province; representatives of the leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. and cadres, union members, and workers in the company.

According to the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd., during the past term, the unit has performed well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. The trade union coordinates with enterprises to review labor regulations, develop a system of salary scales, allowances and regulations for periodic salary increases, ensuring practical rights for employees.

The unit has signed a Collective Labor Agreement, supplementing many favorable provisions on wages and bonuses, ensuring jobs and improving professional skills for workers.

Welfare work and care for union members' lives have been implemented synchronously through programs such as "Tet Sum Vay", Tet bonuses, shift meals support, accommodation, seniority and position allowances. The emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" were widely spread; many initiatives of workers have been applied, bringing practical results.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province - acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the Sakurai Company Union in the past time. He suggested that the company's trade union continue to promote the role of entities, in which workers are the center; enterprises are the foundation; trade unions are the fulcrum; trade union officials are the companions; innovation is the driving force for development.

I hope that the company's trade union needs to further promote emulation movements among workers and laborers, especially the 5 pioneers, 5 companions movement; promote the key role of the trade union cadre team, meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development, contribute to building a strong trade union organization and Party Committee, and take better care of workers' lives Mr. Thanh emphasized.

At the Congress, with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", delegates elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. for the 2025-2030 term, including 19 members and elected a delegation to attend the XXI Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union, 2025-2030.
