Da Nang Labor Union presents 1,000 gifts to workers in flooded areas
Da Nang - The City Labor Federation presented 1,000 gifts to workers in flooded areas.
On October 30 and November 1, the City Labor Federation coordinated with the City Youth Union to organize a delegation to visit and encourage the families of union members and workers in the communes of Go Noi, Duy Xuyen, Que Son...
The delegation included Mr. Le Van Dai, Permanent Vice President of the City Labor Federation and Mr. Nguyen Ba Duan, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union.
At each destination, the delegation presented 200 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, including necessary necessities to share and encourage workers to overcome difficult times, quickly overcome and clean up after the storm to stabilize their lives.
Along with this program, the City Labor Federation has directed grassroots unions, commune and ward unions to actively review and report on the list of union members and workers affected by floods to receive support from the City Labor Federation.
At the same time, it is recommended to visit and encourage the functional forces on duty in response to floods. Each gift to support union members affected by storms is 2 million VND/person; visit and encourage the flood-prone forces with 3 million VND/point.
