Lam Dong - Grassroots Trade Union coordinates with businesses to award 50 scholarships worth more than 46 million VND to union members' children at the beginning of the new school year.

On September 3, Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Tham - Chairwoman of Ham Thang Ward Trade Union, Lam Dong province, said that the grassroots Trade Union of Rang Dong Joint Stock Company has just coordinated with businesses to award 50 scholarships to children of union members and workers with good academic achievements.

The total value of scholarships is 46,250,000 VND, to encourage union members' children to continue to strive in their studies.

For elementary school students, each student is given a gift box containing 10 notebooks and a writing box, worth 180,000 VND. Excellent secondary school students are awarded cash scholarships of 1 million VND.

For students who achieve the title of excellent student at the high school level and who pass the university entrance exam, each scholarship is worth 3 million VND in cash.
