Giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the launch of the Office of Cluster Area of Industrial Park No. 2
On September 6, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that the Provincial Labor Federation had just organized the launch of the Office of the Industrial Zone No. 2 area cluster.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 57 gifts to encourage union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances in cluster area of Industrial Park No. 2.
According to the plan, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation will establish 7 regional cluster offices according to industrial parks throughout the province. Each office will arrange 4-5 full-time trade union officials, organize rotational duty to be in charge and grasp the situation in the assigned area.
This approach aims to strongly shift trade union activities to the grassroots level, especially in areas with a large concentration of workers, businesses and rapid labor force growth.
The office of the cluster area of Industrial Park No. 2 is in charge of 92 grassroots trade unions with nearly 133,200 union members, workers, and laborers belonging to Quang Chau and Dinh Tram industrial parks.

At the program, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the establishment of cluster offices is a step to innovate the operating methods of trade union organizations, in line with practical requirements when the scale of industrial parks is increasingly expanding, and the number of union members and workers is increasing rapidly.
Instead of operating mainly from the provincial level down, offices in clusters of areas will create an additional focal point that is regularly present at the grassroots level.
Trade union officials have conditions to be closer to businesses, closer to workers; proactively grasp the situation of production, employment, wages, life, labor relations and issues arising right from the grassroots level to advise and resolve promptly.
In particular, with the arrangement of full-time officials to rotate duty at each cluster, activities to support union members and workers will be implemented faster and more practically.
This is also a condition for grassroots trade unions to have more companionship and guidance in collective bargaining, dialogue at the workplace, taking care of welfare and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
Speaking to direct, Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and innovations of trade union levels in the province in the past time.
He highly appreciated the Provincial Labor Federation's organization of offices and departments operating near grassroots levels, near businesses and workers. This is a way that is suitable for the characteristics of an industrial province, a place with a large concentration of workers.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Labor Federation should continue to closely coordinate with the Management Board of industrial parks of the province and localities with many workers to better grasp the actual needs, thereby advising on the implementation of practical policies.
One issue that needs special attention is housing for workers. He said that the province is implementing many social housing projects and allocating resources to support people with housing difficulties.
However, it is necessary to realistically assess how workers access and benefit from these policies; where are the difficulties and obstacles to have appropriate solutions to ensure that policies reach the right people.
