Cam Duong Trade Union mobilizes to develop union members in Coc San

On September 1, information from the Cam Duong Ward Trade Union, the unit has just coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Coc San commune to work with representatives of businesses and business households in the area on the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions (CĐCS).

At the working session, the Cam Duong Ward Trade Union propagated the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State related to the Trade Union organization.

At the same time, clarify the role of the Trade Union in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

The unit also exchanged and grasped the situation of employment, life, labor relations and difficulties and obstacles at businesses and business households in the area.

Representing business households, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, owner of a wine production business household in Cum Thuong 2 village, Coc San commune, agreed with the policy of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.

According to Ms. Lien, the Trade Union can become a bridge between workers and employers, contributing to creating a stable working environment and increasing cohesion in the unit.

Cam Duong Ward Trade Union guides units on content and procedures for workers to voluntarily join the Trade Union and gradually establish grassroots trade unions.

In the process of implementation, the unit continues to accompany, guide and remove arising difficulties.

The activity aims to concretize the coordination mechanism between the Trade Union organization and the Party Committee and local authorities, towards the goal of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions at enterprises and cooperatives in Coc San commune in the 2026-2030 period.

Thereby, gradually expanding the Trade Union organization, improving the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
