Da Nang - The City Labor Federation established 2 grassroots trade unions in industrial parks with 62 union members.

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on August 29th said: The City Labor Federation organized a conference to announce decisions to establish grassroots trade unions, admit new union members and propagate policies and laws on social insurance and health insurance for employees at Sam Sam Co., Ltd. (Tam Thang Industrial Park) and Kien Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park).

At the conference, the City Labor Federation announced decisions to admit union members, recognize the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Sam Sam Co., Ltd. and the grassroots Trade Union of Kien Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd., with 62 union members admitted in this phase.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - requested grassroots trade unions to proactively coordinate with the Board of Directors to perform well the function of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time promote the role of the Trade Union organization in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
