Bao Thang Commune Trade Union takes care of the health of union members and workers

On the morning of July 12, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union coordinated with Medlatec Vietnam Co., Ltd. Lao Cai Branch to organize the first health screening and counseling program in 2026 for 130 union members and workers of Thanh Cong Trading Joint Stock Company and Lao Cai Forest Industry Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

This is an activity within the 2026 work program to care for union members and workers of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union, and also practically celebrates the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union - said that caring for the lives, especially the health of union members and workers, is always identified by the trade union as one of the key tasks.

The program is organized to create conditions for union members and workers to access screening and health counseling services, helping to detect early disease risks, thereby raising awareness of caring for and protecting health for themselves and their families," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized.

According to the Chairman of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union, the activity also demonstrates the role and responsibility of the trade union organization in accompanying and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

Thereby contributing to building a team of workers, civil servants, and laborers with good health, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Within the framework of the program, union members and workers are given screening tests and health consultations by the team of doctors and physicians of Medlatec Vietnam Co., Ltd. Lao Cai Branch.

Through these activities, workers have more opportunities to detect early disease risks, proactively monitor and take care of their health.
